For over 150 years, the YMCA has been meeting the needs of communities in many different ways. One long-standing service has been the YMCA housing program. The Hudson County area has a tremendous demand for affordable housing. Nearly 96 units of single-room-occupancy (SRO) housing are available at the Hoboken-North Hudson YMCA.

• Short/Temporary stay is limited to 25 days

• Rooms can be rented on a weekly or monthly basis

• All rooms are for one guest only. No visitors or pets.

• Residents staying longer than one month must fill out lease

• A security deposit plus rent is required upon arrival.

• We accept Cash, Money Orders, Traveler’s Checks

• Or stop by the YMCA to fill out both applications. 

• *Application process requires a non refundable $40 processing fee.

• Call for an interview.

• The application process takes a minimum of 2 days to complete, and based on availability, rooms may be rented.

• Check in takes place Monday through Friday, 10-2pm.

• Current rental rates for 2007: Rooms start at $142 per week/ $568 per month (not including security fees)
